how can i play a .rar file on my linux mandriva 10.2 system

hi there...
i am having a major problem... well i call it major lol
i have linux mandriva 10.2 on my computer and i like to get tv eps of the net.. and normally when i get them they are just one file to click on...
the last one i got first of made itīs own folder and second of has about 28 files in the folder... 25 of them are in order (.r00-.r25)... from what i have read so far they are definately rar files or needed to be changed over with the rar program...
now i do remember getting one like that but i donīt remember what to do exactly... what i do remember is that i have to right click on the first file(.r00) and do something then.... i canīt find anything like extract or something similar to it...
please help...

install a copy of unrar (this might be the latest version, not sure: http://www.tucows.com/get/8753_32608), then go to the directory and unrar the files like this:

$ unrar x <filename.r00>

or whatever is the first file (without the arrow brackets ;)). then unrar will go through the directory and extract everything into one file. once the file is extracted and you have verified that it works, you can delete all the *.r00 files.

Setup the 2005 urpmi main, contrib, plf and updates repositories using the instructions at easyurpmi. Once thats done, do as root
Code:

#urpmi unrar

Unrar is in the PLF repository because it has some patents on it so it can't be included by default in the distro. Follow redazz's instructions to get it because once you've setup those software sources from easyurpmi you'll also have access to the win32codecs package, which you will probably need for playing videos downloaded off the net.
