Hi,
I'm very new to Linux,I installed Mandriva 2009 in my computer.
& i want to know how can i log in to IRC using mandriva 2009?

You can try irssi, a command line irc client or pidgin, a multi-protocol
chat client.

Supported chat networks for pidgin:

* AIM
* Bonjour
* Gadu-Gadu
* Google Talk
* Groupwise
* ICQ
* IRC
* MSN
* MySpaceIM
* QQ
* SILC
* SIMPLE
* Sametime
* XMPP
