 "network cdrom"??

The Red Hat 9.0 Installation Guide covers all sorts of installation.

The next step would be to read over Selecting an Installation Method, decide on what fits your situation and go from there.

hi again, i already go through the redhat installation guide. anyway in my case becoz i have to boot up the machine from the floppy disk (coz i don't have cdrom drive), i create 3 floppy disks from those image fles in installation cd:

- bootdisk.img
- drvblock.img
- drvnet.img
(no bootnet.img in Redhat 9 CD!!!!)

i boot up it using the floppy with bootdisk.img
i see the graphic screen and in the boot prompt i type "boot text"
it shows:

loading vmlinuz.............
loading initrd.img..........
boot failed: please change disks and press a key to continue

i check the cdrom images directory the initrd.img size is larger than 1 floppy. and it can't fit into the floppy disk.

what should i do the next? please help...

I thnk that the drvnet.img is the network boot image.

im only a noob, but what i did, was take out the cdrom from 1 computer, and put it in the other, after the installaion, put the drive back where it lives.
