How can I install a linux fedora core 9 on a hard drive that already have windows xp

I want to install FC9 on a system that already have windows xp on it with four ntfs drives c d e and f.

I want to use the f drive of my hard disk to install my FC9. How can I do that. Do I need to delete that partition completely or do I need to format it to some other filesystem. Please help. Thanks

Wow, you have 4 separate hardrives on your pc?... anyway here it goes, just launch the FC9 dvd, and when u get to the prompt where to choose the partition, just choose the one u want, it should warn you that all data on the drive will be erased, you just click yes, and the formating will also be done automaticaly for you. A good trick to be sure about selecting the right partition for me is to remember its size as well. you will hardly have 2 "exact" partition sizes on the same disk...
I hope this help
