How can I improve the fonts in Arch linux

hi

The fonts on my firefox browser looks like Ariel type and they're appeared non-aliased fonts i.e jaggy. Other distros like Mint have sharper looking fonts, Can I get better looking fonts with arch?

To change font in firefox it will be under either Preferences>>Options>>Content or Tools>>Options>>Content

It was Edit/Preferences and Content. The default was Serif. I changed it to Times and it improved a bit. Thanks EDDY
