How can I get a KMail icon in the task bar in Kubuntu?
The only way I seem to be able to start k mail in Kubuntu 6.06 is to use the "run" command this gives me an icon in working area of the working area of the task bar but that disappears when I quit the program. There is no icon available to start k mail and it does not appear in the menu. Once I start k mail it works as it should but my problem is getting the program started. I hope this all makes sense as I am a relatively new Linux user and this is my first posting to this forum.

Right click on the KDE menu icon and run the Menu Editor.
Shame its not there (nor Knode) by default in Kubuntu as I think it is excellent. |
Thank you
Thank you - that worked just fine.
