How can I find out my video card 'specs?

Assuming I am not using any GUI, no X or desktop environment, how can I find all the information I could need about my video card?

Well, no idea where you'd get that (besides your video card manufacturers website) but you can get at least -some- info on it by typing in a console

/sbin/lspci

and looking for a reference to a display controller or video device. That should at least get you which chipset is on your card...?

Regards,

Awesome, that was indeed able to provide me with enough information to get the rest of the 'specs. Thanks very much

For future reference, if you had -v after lspci, you'll get more verbose information.
