How can I disable the "X" for closing windows

HI all,

I'm working with mandriva linux (2006) - window maker as window manager, and I need to disable the "x" at upper right corner in windows opened. In need that the user will be unable to close windows with the x. He will be alble with other way.

Can someone help me.

Regards,

Enzo

I would imagine not - that's what the X is for. Depending on how moddable window maker is, you might be able to get a theme that has no X's, but I wouldn't count on it. On the other hand, it would likely be pretty easy to modify the source code for this behaviour.

Still, it sounds like you're approaching your problem from the wrong angle - playing with the default behaviour of window managers sounds like you're barking up the wrong tree. What are you actually trying to do? Chances are you've missed an easier and more fitting way to do it.
