How can I connect other linux machines with landscape service within my network ?
dear friends,
I have recently come to know about " LANDSCAPE SERVICE " in ubuntu. I run a cyber cafe , and I have six computers in my shop. all are installed with ubuntu desktop. Mine is having the ubuntu desktop. should I plan to install ubuntu server in my machine to connect with other client machine ? if so, and if not, then how to configure my network and connect other ubuntu machines with " LANDSCAPE SERVICE " . any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance .... |
Ubuntu Landscape is a service that you can use to maintain your Ubuntu desktops/servers. It will not connect your Ubuntu machines to each other. Each Ubuntu machine must have the Landscape client installed. In short: install landscape-client and afterwards run landscape-config.
