How can I close multiple open office documents with one click?

Hello everybody
I use open office documents as archives and often have to open multiple, as many as 20-30n of them . Then, I command "save all" but have to close them one by one . Is there a way to group them ? In windows xp, when I opened many of them, they appeared as a group on the panel and I could right click them and execute "close group" after having saved them all

Also, when opening the second document, it appears as the documents name on the lower panel and to read it I have to click on it. Is there any way to open it directly?
Thanks in advance

In 2 clicks: File > Quit (right at the bottom of the file menu).

kill [application]
Not sure how safe this is though.

killall is the command i think, but this essentially just wipes ram or something (SIG___)? and doesnt wait for the program to quite or save or anything. Does kill it very quickly and painlessly though :P

Ctrl + Q ( exit command at the bottom of file ) closes everything as well as openoffice but it is not a problem, restarting it is not difficult
