how can i add a printer that is not listed in the "Red Hat Printer Config?"
in cups..... my desired printer is installed...
its an EPSON C41UX....
it is in the list after i installed the ppd file of the printer from linuxprinting.org?
but in Red Hat Printer Config..... my printer isn't listed there...
how can i add my printer in Red Hat Printer Config or also known as printconf-gui ? please help....

Have you switched Redhat to use CUPS? In 8.1 it's the default, in 8.0 it isn't. Look for the "switch printing system" tool

You may get your latest printer driver from there; complete with printing tools (photo printing) and printer monitoring (tuning, maintenace and ink levels).

It work great for my Stylus C80 :-)
