hotspot


Hi all,
I have kubuntu machine connected to wired internet. I want to use this internet in my smart phone by creating hotspot in the linux machine. I tried to by creating adhoc network in the machine but it is not working. Please advice me.

You give us very little information to work with, so we need to ask you some more questions.
1. You said you used kubuntu. Which version?
2. You did install a wifi card / adapter? Could you tell us the make and model?
3. You did verify that the wifi card/adapter can function as access point (AP)?
