homework help on Linux

 Attached is a file called ‘pos420.dat’, save it to your PC. Created a sub-directory called ‘weekfour’ in your home directory, then FTP it to the weekfour directory. Use the attached winSCP2 if you have issues with the FTP commands - this may be caused by your firewall.
 Write an awk script at the command line to display the students’ name and UOP email address.

LQ Rules

Do not expect LQ members to do your homework - you will learn much more by doing it yourself.

If you have a specific problem or issue, we will be happy to help; but nobody is going to literally do the assignment for you.

^^^What he said^^^

You said you wanted help, Then proceed to list off the assignment (which has instructions already). I think MS3FGX is right, You should post what SPECIFICALLY it is that you are stuck on. You'll get more detailed results and no-one has to compromise their morals . You may also consider telling what linux distro your using (debian, redhat, puppy, etc) so people with knowledge in that system can provide help.

Despite how the post may look, I hope you get un-stuck, and figure out what it is that's holding you back. Good luck!
