Yes this is home work . I have gone through my book and I can not finde the answer.
well here it is . how would you establish the same environment that Zach has when he first logs in? any help would be happy to get. my book is fedora and rehat enterprise linux by Mark G. Sobell. if you now this book and now where to look that would be helpfull as well. thanks

It should be in your book under "adding users". After that, it should be in the man page on useradd (see the section on NOTES...)
