Home network with Linux

I have a home network, where my computer is directly connected to internet and the other computer connects to internet through mine. This worked fine when I used Win XP. How can I set this network up with Linux?
I'm using Slackware with KDE.

What you're looking for is ip-masquerading. It is fairly simple to setup through iptables or ipchains. There is some good info here on how to set it up.
