history -c


Hello all
i know that "history -c" command clears the history and it works but after i ran a script like "./script" all history comes back.After that i type "history" i can see all history.Why is that ?

Seems like it only clears the history of the current session. If you want to clear it permanently delete the ~/.bash_history file.
