hiding log files of samba from windows user

i want to hide .kde and etc files with hidden attribute but can be seen from windows users but it fails even hide or veto files does not have any effect? any solution

Use "hide files =" in smb.conf.
example from the smb.conf manpage:
hide files = /.*/DesktopFolderDB/TrashFor%m/resource.frk/
