Hello and Welcome to LinuxQuestions,

Which version of Ubuntu did you install? And did you install and configure the NVidia drivers for your graphics card (please post which type)?

Kind regards,

Eric

Hello,

Check out this link in order to disable the nouveau driver that comes with your version of Ubuntu and install the NVidia driver for your graphics card.

Kind regards,

Eric
