HELP with xf86-video-intel 2.1.0

I am a newb to Linux and have installed Suse Linux onto my computer I just built. The motherboard I am using is an Intel D965WH. I ran into a video problem which my display is set to 800x600 and wont allow me to change it. I have been googling and reading other forum post but still cannot fix this. How do I update the drivers to fix this problem? Thanks for looking and your time....

I believe Yast has a tool for changing the screen resolution or you can manually edit your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
