help with this installation

im installing some program and i get this error

checking for mozilla-plugin... Package mozilla-plugin was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `mozilla-plugin.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'mozilla-plugin' found
configure: error: Unable to find gecko sdk
mark@user379:~/bin/mplayerplug-in>

how do i add to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH?

you can do something like ]# export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/path/to/files

just out of curiosity

btw it didn't work, anyone else?
