help with the xorg.conf file

I am doing homework for my Linux class and I can't answer a question. Unfortunately I do not have a Linux operating system running yet because my PC is old and I don't have enough HDD space to have a dual boot config.
I need to list the 3 tabs in the Display Settings program and describe the function of each tab. Since I do not have the Linux OS I can not figure this out. Can someone please help me.

If we give you the answer, then we are doing your homework for you ;)

No need to setup a dual boot to see the display settings. Just use a light LIVE CD/DVD GNU/Linux distro such as Damn Small Linux.

+1 for the Damn Small Linux.

Or, you could just buy more storage space. I bet you could go to your nearest used computer shop and pick up 20Gs for under $10.

The thing is, if your studying it, you should really have something to work on at home. You'll learn a lot more that way.
