I have recently installed the 2.6.0 kernel from the 2.4.18 one, it boots up fine, but when i try to access the internet it says it cant find the page. It does seem to recognize my device though because when i go to the pppoe connection config. it recongnizes eth0, what am i doing wrong?

Ok, i have more details now. I am now able to ping my own network after setting up eth0 with ifconfig. How can i set it to access the web, and set up eth0 automatically?
