Help with GRUB tweaks...

Just curious how to tweak GRUB (not GRUB2) so that it defaults to Windows XP instead of Fedora 11, on my dual boot system. What happens now, is that the machine boots, GRUB initiates and displays/highlights Linux for
5 seconds and then continues to boot Linux if no user interaction is initiated. It would be nice to have GRUB default to Windows ("Other" in
the field text)after about 30 seconds.
It would also be nice to edit the field texts to a more descriptive label-
ie: Fedora 11 instead of "Linux", and Windows XP instead of "Other".
I think this should be reasonably easy to do, I just need someone to point me in the right direction.
Thanks for the help.

You can configure the boot proccess from fedora control panel. Look for boot option in control panel and you will find the option window$ (make default) and in time waiting where is 5sec make it 30sec!

Yes it is very easy.

You edit as a root user the file /boot/grub/grub.conf

The "default" statement specifies the item number of system Grub will boot. You just change the number to reflect the Windows position.

The "title" statement is used by Grub just to display whatever after it. So write anything on that line will get displayed.
