Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

Help with FC5 Install
I was having some problems with my FD5 install so I did a complete reinstall this time with taking care to make sure I installed the right packages and configured this during the install. Now after a complete reinstall I am getting the exact same problems.
First I cannot get it to recognize my wireless. Even though looking in the libraries I can see my aero card in the modules when I do a modprobe it gives me a error module not found. When i go to add and remove packages it still gives me a error and then crashes. I go to install ndiswrapper extract it to /tmp then do a make and I get the same error. Nothing seems to work with it. What am I missing? i took care to install the packages but now I cannot even do a make after I downloaded the ndiswrapper and transfered it to that PC. I dont understand why it doesnt see the aero even though i am looking at it or I cannot use my package manager. Anyone have any ideas?
