Help with Dual booting

OK. I want to run a dual boot on my winXP machine. Its a P4 2.4ghz 512mb RAM, and a 80 gig HDD. I have the HDD split up into 4 partitions. 1-12 gig, 1- 33 gig, 1- 19 gig, and 1- 2 gig. I want to run a dual boot with winXP and Linux with Fedora core. I would like to know the best way not to screw everything up and have to reformat my hdd because this is a family computer. If someone could give me some pointers, that would be cool. Thanks.

What's the 1- thing before every file size? I've added everything up, so I assume you have 10GB unpartitioned? If that is true, Fedora has a very nice tool that can auto partition your harddrive. Just select auto partition during the install and choose to leave all partitions and use free space.
