help w/ - /sbin/pnpdump

im trying to find what chipset numbers are on my isa modem and my linux mandrake 9.1 (kernel 4.2) does not have the /sbin/pnpdump option that file does not exist, any suggestions? (windows picked the modem up as a internal v.90 fax modem, and the main chip is a lucent) any help would be a plus!

I've noticed that the pnpdump utility has been dropped in a couple different distros. Aside from installing the pnpdump package, you can try using the lspci command. Running as root:

lspci -vv

should give you a very verbose listing of what is on the PCI busses. I'm not positive if an ISA card will showup, but I believe the ISA slots are still routed over the PCI buss, so it should.
