Question HELP w/ creating link in "Applications"


Im trying to create a link in Applications" to a program. I created a launcher in the dir, but I only see the link in the taskbar when I logon as root. Does anyone know what to do??

i dont know how to create the link, but u can press Alt+F2 and type the name of the program to launch it.

I meant KDE, Gnome etc. Guess I should have asked your desktop.
