help using Printer System Switcher.. im using RH8.. simple question.. pls help
 

i tried to use the Printer System Switcher...
im using RH8..
my the default printing system is "LPRng"
and i changed it to "CUPS"
after clicking "apply" and "ok"
it says:


Your Printing System has successfully been switched,
but you must restart /etc/init.d/[lpd|cups]
for the changes to take effect.


hmmmmmm
how can i restart "/etc/init.d/[lpd|cups]"?
or anything that i should do?

probably just enter this at the command line:
/etc/init.d/cups

If you can't be bothered to get typing, just reboot. Has the same effect, just takes a minute or two.
