help: Setting up telnet service in linux

Trying to setup telnet service in linux. can any one please guide me how to do it. I have redhad linux 7.1 version. Please let me know if you need to know anything more.

Needs help urgent!!!!

Are you trying to set up a telnet server - that is, to access your computer remotely? Or a telnet client, to get to other computers?

If it's a server, you should probably go with OpenSSh rather than telnet; it's more secure, and - from a newbie POV, more importantly - easier to find good HOWTOs for.

thats right! i was trying to setup telent server in order to access it remotely. But I don't know where to start from, if you know any resource where i can find these please let me kknow.
