Help Setting Up Server

I downloaded and installed Fedora 3 with server settings and selected everything. This included appache I am told. I was wondering if someone could help my figure out how to create a web server. I want to be able to use the computer as a server for many of my songs, movies, and other files that me and my friends create. If someone could help me get started it would be great. I am completly new to linux, I saw it for the first time in use after I installed it myself.

thx
Tom

Working on the assumption that you're sharing only songs movies and other files that you have legal right to distribute, you go to httpd.apache.org and read the documentation.

If you're talking about swapping copyrighted material that's of questionable origin, you forget the idea as it's illegal in most places on earth and immoral in all of them.

It's for original movies me and my friends make... currently we host them on www.quantumninja.com but we are trying to see if we can replace paying 15/month for our own server.

I went to the link you mentioned and the documentation has a lot of different areas. I am not sure which sections I need to use. What sections do I need to read to set up just a basic server.
