I have installed RedHat 7.3 on a Dell Optiplex GX260, however not been able to get the display nor the network configured.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

The network is easy, just download e1000 drivers from intel.

The video is a bit tough.

I have only been able to get the unit to operate in 800X600 in 8bit mode. I am working with dell to get the right drivers for the video.

I believe these are the official Intel drivers for the 82845G. -- J.W.

Intel drivers did not work. I finally found some references to a bug in the bios. Appears to be a problem that it incorrectly identifies the amount of memory allocated to video. Go into the bios, set it to 8megs and set the driver to that amount of ram and things began to work.
