I have been trying to look at open up a url for a class that i have to view lectures online and they have not been working.

I have tired it both in internet explorer and also in firefox but doesn't work?

It is an wm7 active x issue? Is it a java issue? I did upload a new java to updater 13 and I believe since then itt has not been working.

Can someone please help me here.

Looks like you need ActiveX and Windows Media Player. That's not good...

Did you look at the URL? The ending part where you specify you're using Windows Media 7? (playerType=WM7).

Since that's specified on the URL, chances are there's a section further back up the URL chain, where you can tell it what player you're using...
