Help please

Hi im new to this site i dont know im on right place to ask help.
My ubuntu 14.04 lts keep fiveng me error says:unable to lunch "gnome-session -- session=ubuntu" X session --- "gnome-session --session=ubuntu" not found; falling back to default session.
I tryed everything i can still not working any help will be appreciated

You'll need to post more information. Post the contents of
If the file isn't in that path, run
$ locate Xorg.0.log
and post the contents here.

Im new to linux yeah it worked before i used about a month then one day tryed to open then this happened

Have you done a dist-upgrade or tried to upgrade to 16.04?

If not it might be a temporary problem if you able to run the graphics in some kind of fall back manor, provided you have not installed something else that requires extra gui trickery that is not catered for.

check out .xsession-errors this will possibly give a lot of errors but someone might be able to help.

You can edit your first post (here) then hit "Go Advanced" to change your title that many will just ignore "Hellp please?" The same reason, not enough info.

Does [Ctrl] [Alt] [F2] get you to a tty, can try apt from there? Also, a live OS for backups of your data...
