Help please!!
I have a laptop that had crashed so I had a friend install Linux Lite 1.0.8 and I'm having trouble connecting to the internet because someone put an authentication password on it. I tried to get thru it and create another password through my command terminal but nothing is working so I want to factory reset my laptop. help will be greatly appreciated.

Get in touch with your friend who installed it and ask him/her what the password is.

Is it the password for your router (I assume you have WiFi)?

That's a request for network password for the router not the system.
If you don't remember network password then you'll have to reset router & recreate it, unless like my router I can login to it & retrieve the network password. |
