Help!!! on Mirroring

Hi to all,

I am using RHEL5.

I have 2 hard disk installed it was mirrored in my server. The primary hard disk corrupted and cannot boot anymore. How can I use the secondary hard disk which is the mirror of the primary hard disk to boot?

It is urgent!!

Kindly help me.

Do I have to change the cable and edit the bios?

Thanks a lot.

You should be able to just swap the cables.

Hi,

It is not urgent to me.

BTW, putting 'Urgent' in your title will not get the immediate response you wish. Some members sometimes ignore or refuse to respond to the type of request/problem.

mdadm /dev/md0 --add /dev/sdc1

is the command which can help you add the other hard drive in case the first gets failed.

Nope, not urgent at all, for anyone here. If it's **URGENT** for you, then CALL REDHAT SUPPORT, SINCE YOU'RE PAYING FOR IT.
