help on booting dos to linux


hi has anyone got an idea of how to boot a dos machine to connect to a linux box im running suse 10.0 i need to boot a dos mahine and connect it to a linux box just like how a dos machine can connect to novell with its client for dos .i need to connect the dos machine and be able to see my files and directories!!!!!!!!!!

unfortunatley this is my second request and im loosing hope on this forums

You may not have gotten a reply because the title does not make sense.....

Do you want to access a DOS machine from Linux? Or Linux from DOS?
Are you on a network? If not, how are the computers connected?

Assuming that you have the right connection, my hunch is that ftp might be the simplest method. There is Samba for connecting **Windows** to Linux, but I have never seen anything on DOS. (Haven't looked either... )

Give is more details, and you'll get more help.....
