Help !! Newbie

Hello, I’m having difficulty properly installing VmWare tools. The version of VmWare I am using is server 2.02. I’m trying to install it on my virtual ferdora_13 OS.
After clicking to install the tools, the disc Icon displays on the Virtual Machine desktop.
After this, I open the disc file browser and click VmWare Tools-7.7.6-203138.i386.rpm, the tools seems to install.
But even after rebooting and ejecting the virtual disk my virtual desktop does not open fully.
Help New-Bee
