Help needed in creating boot & root disk for Slackware Install

I have just downloaded Slackware on to my Xp drive. Slackware? (yeah I know - not for newbie and all that ...yeah but I want to have ago ). The instruction says to create a boot disk and root disk.

First question is can't I copy every thing onto cd and install from there ?

Do I have to create these two disk ?

If yes then where are the Image files located and the RAWRITE program.

RAWRITE it's for make a floppy disk to boot on... If your cd is not bootable, make a floppy boot disk

WHen you have your CD's downloaded, you have to burn them on CD's...

It is your question? or...?

The boot disks are only necessary if your Slackware CD will not boot in your computer.

Thanks for your replies but I didn't download the ISO files as they are too big and takes too long to download. I have a feeling that if I just burn the non-iso files onto cd it would not boot. If that is the case what do I have to do? Do I have to create the boot and root disk and combine that with the rest of the files on CD?

If I have to create the boot disk then where can i locate RAWRITE and the image files?

Thanks
