Help Needed Connecting VPN Within Kali

Hello

I have managed to install Kali upon Virtual Box, on my Windows 7. In addition I have added VPN, all seems fine apart from when I try to configure/connect to my VPN provider.

The Network Manager (NM) is installed and I can add my login details HOWEVER the window size of the NM is small and the 'Apply'/'Done' button is not showing, as it's cut off by the task bar of the Kali Desktop window.

I have tried dragging the corners to resize but it's not working.

Can anybody help on this? Thanks in hope. dadrunkpenguin

I hate to be blunt ,but.
If you can not already do this in your sleep , then you likely should NOT be using Kali

Kali is designed to BE USED BY

Network system admins
Network Security professionals
Network Penetration testing professionals

Security researchers Academic and professionals

see a common theme ?
professionals

John, your directness is of course sobering and not likely to win 'Diplomacy of The Month Award' but I understand your reasons in saying what you did and appreciate that you offered your views. I posted in this area of the Forum as I was under the impression it was for Linux Newbies, I guess you consider my inability to address the issue I am experiencing evidence that I do not merit posting even here, ah well I hope to have better fortune in receiving the advice or support from those who do have greater experience and knowledge. dadrunkpenguin

it is that Kali is NOT , 100% NOT ,meant for "new to linux" users

think of it this way
Kali is a Formula 1 race car
and you DO NOT yet have a drivers license
and do not yet know how to drive a normal street car

or

Kali is a F16 fighter jet
and you have never taken a single fling lesson ( or only have a few under your belt, but not ready to "solo" )

a good OS for "new to linux" users
is something like
Linux Mint
or
Ubuntu
or even OpenSUSE ( but that is targeted more for the Office and not home use)

Well John , again thank you for repeating your assertion, may I ask if your reply is that of an Administrator of this Forum? If so perhaps you may wish to place at the Home Page a prominent notice, in bold red letters 'This Site Is NOT (let me makes this totally clear, in case you are too stupid to understand, for anyone other than Professional users of Linux/Kali' That should hopefully keep away people who in all innocence simply seek some advice on a particular issue. Meanwhile if you are not an Administrator of this forum please note that your observations have been read, so kindly move on now and maybe I could be fortunate enough to get some guidance other than condescension.

Have you installed the Guest Additions? They enable resizing of the whole Vbox window, and might solve that problem. Don't know if you've read this:
