Help need to use ettercap on ubuntu portable

Hi everyone im new to linux actualy just start using ubuntu portable cause its gud to use a linux in windows :P anyway here is my first question to this forum. i ve instaled ettercap-gtk on ubuntu using add/remove after installation i tried to run it with this command(ettercap -T -q -F smb.ef -M ARP /192.168.0.1/ // -P autoadd -i wlan0) in terminal but its end with an error:

ettercap NG-0.7.3 copyright 2001-2004 ALoR & NaGA

Content filters loaded from smb.ef...
Listening on wlan0...
ERROR : 1, Operation not permitted
[ec_capture.c:capture_init:146]

pcap_open: socket: Operation not permitted

... ANY HELP ???

According to the Error message you need root privileges to run that command, prefix your command with sudo.

Thankyou for ur reply i also tried it with sudo but still not workin i even tried after installing some other lib like libpcap-dev libnet etc but notworkin
