Question Help! My Gnome Launcher Bar has Disappeared

I booted my computer this morning and after several attempts the Launcher Bar along the top of the monitor screen has completely disappeared. Could someone tell me how to restore it, please?

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 (Gnome desktop).

Doesn't the menu resulting from the right click on the desktop have an option
for adding a new launcher, add the new launcher and then right click on that new
launcher to add the desired applications!

If you still have a panel at the bottom of your screen, R-click on an empty bit of it, and choose New Panel
Then you will need to R-click your new panel and add Menu, Notification area etc.

If there is no panel anywhere CTRL-ALT-t will open a terminal, and use the command gnome-panel in it.

Yes, now I remember, both the launcher panels can never be deleted simultaneously, one has to be present and
the new one can be created by right clicking as tredegar says.

Thanks for all your help guys. I now have my computer fixed by reinstalling the gnome panel ... thank you once again.
