Thumbs up Help : Memory Corruption tool ?


Hi LQ,

Kindly let me know the Linux tool to find out the memory corruption in a program.

The tool could be built for PPC as well.

You mean to say Memory debugging tools ? if so go for

MEMWATCH

and also search for YAMD in google

No. I meant a tool to detect the memory corruption in a program during runtime

Electric Fence
Gnu Checker
Valgrind
Insure++
Application Verifier

try Valgrind, mpatrol, dmalluc, mtrace and ElectricFence see if it can help you.
