i have red hat 8.0 and had a nvidia 32mb pci video card but i change it because it was to much because my machine was running as a server so i puted a 8 mb pci video card so now i cant run the graffic mode (X) just text or terminal or console so now i need help so i can reconfigure my new and shitty pci video card but i do not know how and theres no Xconf just XFree86 or something like that please help me im a fool !! jeje! please help

xf86cfg -textmode

(As root) That should give you a menu for setting up your mouse, keyboard, vidcard, monitor.

ok thank you! iam learning and i really thank you but the video card that i have is a generic card their componets are Alliance Semicondcutor Promotion aT24 what brand is that ?? What do i do ??
