Talking Help me install AMP or ACPI on mandrake 9.2


can someone please help me install APM or ACPI into my mandrake kernal ive never recompiled the kernel before so i will need step by step moron proof instructions because i am a linux
thanks in advance

Will, undere 2.24 kernel it's under general setup AVANCED POWER MANAGEMENT SETUP, you can't really miss it if you look through the menus to be honest

And make sure the apmd is running on your computer to take advantage of it.

i figured you ment APM so i did and this is the output i got

[exley@localhost exley]$ apm
No APM support in kernel
[exley@localhost exley]$
