Question Help me!

Hi, Im new to this forum. I am using Linspire6.0 now and i want to change that to Ubuntu. I have read the installation instructions for installing Ubuntu but still struck during the installation twice. Can anyone help me by providing a typical Ubuntu installation instruction file specific for dual-boot with Windows XP SP2?
