my plane is to upgrade php 5.3 to the latest version , mysql 5.1 also to the latest version and mozila firefox 30 on opensuse 11.3 but i can't get any resource for opensuse to make it done

Hmm, I'm not using Opensuse.. But according to Opensuse's Lifetime page support for Opensuse 11.3 has ended 2,5 years ago. It looks like you have to upgrade to a later version of Opensuse.

Yep, my humble thought exactly...
However, I dont know the full story, but this does really illustrate what good system management is about ;)
To keep a system unupdated for this long either means: you just "found" the system (inherited it at work?) or did an install from a pretty old medium...
Updates allow you to keep your system safe from the big bad outside...if you "inherited" it at work, the previous "guardian" did'nt really di his job hehe :)
I'd strongly recommend making this a weekly chore, or - even better - set up a cron job to manage that for you :)

OK let me clear my self my goal is to upgrade moodle 2.5.6 to moodle 2.7 currently installed on my opensuse 11.3 system so to do this i have to upgrade php ,mysql ,phpmyadmin and Mizilla Firefox. i face this issue on my work so if no option you can tell me to do this on opensuse 11.3 i want to move to opensuse 13.1 to get the current release of my need.

Did you just recently install your distribution? How much do you have to lose? I highly recommend you update to the latest version of SuSE if at all possible because it will make the newer versions of Moodle, PHP, etc. easier for you as well.

To upgrade your OS, try following the instructions here. I realize that you don't have SuSE version 12.3, but I think that it should still work, just be sure to follow the text that applies specifically to those with older versions.
