Firstly, threads with titles like "help me" are frowned upon here since those titles convey no useful information about the content of the thread.
Secondly, Firerat is correct; telnet is insecure and should be replaced with SSH straight off. The ASSH server does have the ability to present a banner to the user before authentication (read "man sshd_config" to find out how to do this and many other cool things). To answer your question, look at /etc/issue and /etc/issue.net ... /etc/motd is the message that is printed after login, and I presume you want your banner to be printed pre-login. |
