Help ! Lost my home folder so cant boot up.

Dear friends while doing some study for my Linux class i accidentally moved my folder "kev" home/kev out of the home folder.

Is there a way i can start Linux in command line mode as root user and move my folder back to were it belongs.

I really dont want to re-install and lose all my stuff.

Please help.

either liveCD , or choose the recovery mode in grub

or, assuming root has a password,
get console ( Ctrl+Alt+F1 ), and login as root
