Help installing Symantics Touchpad Driver in SUSE 10.1

I just recently installed SUSE 10.1 onto my Dell Latitude D600, and have found that my touchpad doesn't work *quite* like I want it to (ie, a lot of things dont want to drag without me holding down the actual button). Through google I was able to find a Symantics Touchpad Driver, but couldn't find a howto for SUSE anywhere, and quite frankly, I'm totally lost. If anyone could help walk me through this, it would be MUCH appreciated.

I found this post through google. It outlines some issues on the same hardware in suse 9.2. Take a gander, it may help you out as well: http://forums.suselinuxsupport.de/in...ST&f=33&t=8506
