I know how to install packages (sudo apt-get install [package]), but that's about it. There's this thing I want to install, but I don't know how to do it, it's the first one in this list:

I tried many things, I tried downloading it and saving it in the user directory, and doing (sudo make install [name of file]) and many variants, like (apt-get, [URL here], etc.). To be quite honest. I'd like to know more about linux code, also. Do you think you could teach me a bit in addition to answering my question, please? Thanks :P
